A group of friends that have known each other for about a year, through Twitter, managed to find a weekend where we could all find the time to get away.
I think we had an average of 5 gadgets/devices per head, and there was always a mess of iPads, Mac Airs, chords, mini speakers and smartphones lying about. Nice to be in company where it's kosher to have a conversation while fondling electronic devices at the same time.
The psychologist, yoga instructor and I did the sauna thing.
I even made our own vihta for the occasion.
The start-up maven cut the radio personality's hair.
The cook made dinner.
The journalist made insane cakes for dessert.
The e-learning consultant complained of sore ribs from laughing so much.
We all seriously underestimated our rum-drinking capacity.
It was fabulous.
